A limited-edition 1950 Macallan Exceptional Single Cask matured in a first-fill American oak sherry butt for 67 years before being bottled in October 2018. After almost seven decades maturing this whisky has an elegant rich character with aromas of polished oak delicate peaches and vanilla. The palate is intensely oaky with rich wood spices orange zest root ginger and hints of something peaty.
