“Boy I” (October 1992) was created using Adobe Photoshop 2.0 and Fractal Design Painter 2.04 and 3.0. This piece served as the foundation that would lead to “Boy II” (1994). When the two pieces are together, it is a great example of Garcia’s progression with the digital media programs of the early 90s. A portion of the proceeds from this auction will be donated to the Rex Foundation.
The Jerry Garcia Family in partnership with YellowHeart, presents "An Odd Little Place: The Digital Works of Jerry Garcia (1992-1995)" NFT Collection. An artist who crosses all mediums, Garcia was ahead of his time, creating digital artwork included in this collection on his Apple Macintosh computers starting back in 1992. This limited edition collection reveals 17 of his digital works, spanning the four years he worked in this medium. A portion of the proceeds from this auction will be donated to The Wilderness Society.
