One of a series of 2,012 digitally editioned versions of a hand-drawn sketch from the McLaren Design Team. The sketch was done by the Creative Designer on the P1™ and was one of the first expressions that led to the final design.

The sketch highlights one of the P1™’s central features; a fully open rear end, enabling hot air from the engine bay without disturbing airflow above or below the car. The sketch also introduced the seamless, hidden-until-lit design for the rear lights.
