Topographical data of part of the Carpathian Mountain range containing Romania’s highest mountain, Moldoveanu Peak was sampled, isolated and extruded into a digital 3D object, then used as the primary form to virtually sculpt most of the shapes of the bison’s bust and then the ridge area was sampled directly on the rear of the work.
