TdF 2017 - Stage 5 - Dan Martin - A surfboard with a panda on it doesn't seem like a fitting image for an incredible climb, but the Panda comes from his win at Liege-Bastogne-Liege in 2013 and the surfboard comes from his ability to "surf" in the wave in the peloton so well that he saves more energy than most riders. This allows him to get to the base of these massive climbs in great shape. Today was a 2nd place for Dan. Just in front of Chris Froome on this one, as he dropped Froome with his incredible 1 minute attack. This was an incredible final 1 minute attack-and when you see the wattage values, they are incredibly high and then you also have to remember that he only weighs about 135lbs. Just look at the names in the finishing order. Contains bio-metric data file. Artist: Patrick Green
