'Helplessness' was written on one of those really hard mental health days and it was one of those lowly dark moments.

My blanket pins me down, Refusing to let me leave the warmth of my bed, The feeling of nothing-ness that floats in the air Only I can breathe, Devoid of oxygen, full of Sulphur.

The ceiling holds my attention, Leaving me envious of its lucidity. The power it holds over my head, Only the invisible air would know, For I wish to be left afloat, Feeling nothing, Under the weight of all my sorrows.

My pills put me to sleep, Only I wish they would forever. For there is no leaving, Until death.
