On my second tour through Brazil, John Butler and his band were one of the headline acts. I was immensely impressed by his vocals and guitar playing and enjoyed getting to know him a bit.
I watched from the side stage and snapped photos and absorbed the music. This painting is inspired by that experience.

Six album covers have Jay's art including two for the band Slightly Stoopid and is regularly seen live painting on stage with rock stars.
