THE KID (Wonder Boy) series contains 40 digitally structured collages by collage artist Niko Vartiainen.

The artist uses the same base image (Wonder Boy) to build all the collages, but so that the original image remains well easily recognizable and the whole series feels identical. Although the collages are put together digitally, the artist wanted to honor his roots in handmade collages by handpicking and scanning the used images from vintage magazines. The outcome is a worn-out/grungy series of collages where each has its own, very different story to tell from the same, THE KID's perspective.
