Red roofs filled the view as I looked down on the village. It gave it a vibrant glow as people bustled around. It was a lively town and no one would know that Croatia had a war over 30 years ago. So, it's still a fresh wound for many. Even some of the buildings are in piles of rubble. But with that dreary past, the locals greet everyone happily and will give a helping hand if it's needed.
