Kasya

It has been believed that a wheel with flaming wheels (a fire wheel, or fire wheel) is used to welcome the departed who have sinned in life and send them to hell, or as a tool to condemn sinners in hell. Various collections of tales and stories tell of these fire wheels taking away the bodies of sinners (sometimes alive) as retribution for their evil deeds.

火車（かしゃ）

生前に罪を犯した亡者を迎えて地獄に送る、あるいは地獄で罪人を責める道具として、車輪部分が燃え盛る火炎になっている車（火車、火の車）が用いられると考えられてきた。各種の説話集などには悪業の報いとして、この火車が罪人の身を（場合によっては生きたまま）連れ去る話が記されている。
