By the year 2030, the average annual temperature is expected to increase by 2ºC. 485ºC is the temperature at which polyester, which is the material from which the flags are made, would burn.
During 2021/2022, we will work on the United Nations Agenda 2030 and the 17 Sustainable Development Goals approved by 193 countries that constitute the roadmap towards a new world, supported by administrations, social and economic entities.
It is an excellent reason to work on the existence of a flag that represents this global challenge unanimously subscribed.
The vehicle discipline for this cycle is graphic design and the art leader and curator is Mario Eskenazi, who will complete the team of participants and creators with the EINA design school and 3 professional studios.
FlagLab we have signed an agreement with the EINA school in Barcelona to introduce this project in the curriculum directed by Pilar Górriz in the course 2021/2022 with the commitment to hoist 6 flag designs that will remain raised on the mast of the Plaza del Sol following the calendar.
