Inspired by the short story "Swipe and Prejudice" by Lil Diamond Smith depicts a woman struggling to navigate the process of her objectification and her objectification of possible suitors. The bird motifs represent messages, one being white and the other black depending upon the emotional temperature of her response. it is imbued with an obvious feeling of isolation, alienation, silence, and mystique. Lighting, whether organic or synthetic, is essential in creating an atmosphere. It is an artwork that we now associate with sorrow and alienation.
