An APPARITION of MARY, Mother of Jesus Christ, appears in a very small salt lake in the mid-west of the Artist's home State of Western Australia. The Artist had just begun a 2 month travel and photographic odyssey up through the north part of the State. This salt lake was his first stop to aerial photograph. For the Artist, to witness this apparition of Mother Mary in the lake was an incredible blessing for the journey that was to unfold.

The small dry salt lakes dotted around Western Australia throw up some incredible patterns, textures and imagery. On my big 2 month road trip up to the Kimberley mid last year, I drove up through the mid-West and a tiny salt lake just south of Paynes Find was my first stop to take some photos. I sent up the flying camera to see if anything was worth capturing. What I found really blew me away. Almost right in the middle of the lake was a clear apparition of Mary, Mother of Jesus Christ. So stunning - Mother Nature and spirituality working as one.
