Flash was the main software used to create all web animations, well before the dawn of the smartphone and tablet. Entire websites were once made in Flash.

Digital advertising was no exception. Many hours of craft and art had gone into creating these little animating adverts that would live out their life on a webpage for only a short time.

The 300 x 250 pixel banner had to be eye catching, engaging, and very low in filesize.

Millions of digital web banners were created all over the world using Flash. Now that Flash is retired and unsupported, all those nuggets of art and hours of craft are now forever lost in time. Never to be seen again.
