Motherhood sometimes feels like raising creatures from a different species. In this series, I re-imagine children as cute but bizarre animals in absurd and common situations, trying to convey a more realistic and less romantic concept of what it means to be a mother.

My artistic style encompasses a multitude of personal, aesthetic, and cultural references. I often play with viewers’ perceptions of the traditional and mundane.
