I first saw her in the parade of the dead. Whether she is living or already dead, she has already taken my breath away...... . La Catrina is an iconic character from Mexico's Day of the Dead Festival. She symbolizes the rich and the poor, the beauty and ugly--we are all one day going to die. . Day of the dead is such a colorful and fun festival; despite that it is dealing with such sad event like eternal departure. Here I reinterpret the meaning of the festival in my own "daydream". . It is my ambition to advocate for cultural diversity in anime art community. Please enjoy the festival to celebrate the end of life, which is not the end of your joy.
