This is my contribution to the 'Archipelago/Islands' project, to which I had the pleasure of adding Mattia Cuttini and ilan katin's visions. From a large ammount of CSV data extracted from the 'Kerbal Space Program' videogame, I plotted some maps and from those maps, I selected three areas with aesthetic interest and reduced them to a simple two colour, four tone grid; each of the participants chose one and elaborated from there. My approach was to create a hybrid with analog and digital mixed media, so I set to print the main image in cyanotype, a 19th century photographic technique (more on process and background here -> https://steemit.com/art/@oficinastk/islands-and-strange-shores).
