Image of an Asiatic Lion cub from Gir forest in India. Last year in the month of January, during a safari in Gir sanctuary I sighted this little curious fellow along with his siblings resting on a fine winter evening. They were so playful and relaxed for quite some time. Looking at us probably wondered what these humans were doing in their territory. I saw this little one popping his head out to give this innocent and candid look at my camera.

I was mesmerized by his loving innocent eyes as though they were looking deep into my soul.
