Not long after this photo was taken Shibuya banned public smoking in all but a very few areas. It used to be common to see office workers hanging out outside their buildings smoking but it's almost impossible to find now. There's still no place to sit however. This photo appeared in my 2017 photobook "Don't Go Outside" which collected several years of my street photos from Tokyo.
