Granite Monolith by MEESH

This image was taken after a long strenuous adventure Stand Up Paddling the beautiful Green River Lakes in the state of Wyoming. Nestled behind a natural moraine dam scoured by glacial action and surrounded by the stark, steep topography of the windy river range. Not only is this the oldest mountain range in the lower 48 states, but it has the most extensive glacial network. It had been a dream to take this photo, and I had the chance after 12 miles of river navigation on and off land to reach this location. Squaretop mountain peaked out behind the clouds, and I caught an insane reflection from the river on my paddle board as the sky lit up for sunset.

This NFT is part of Reflections by Concurrence Collective – a fine art landscape photography collection dedicated to reflections found in nature. With this collection, we have returned with our shared passion for capturing the natural beauty of the world. Reflections follows on from our debut project Frozen Planet, the first-ever photography collective on Sloika.

Reflections is our second collection and follows on from our debut, Frozen Planet – the first-ever photography collective project released on Sloika.

When Frozen Planet sold out within a few hours, we thought about what we could do differently. We all agreed we wanted to go bigger! We reached out to the landscape photography community with an open call to submit work then followed up with a lengthy curation process. We are excited to be able to bring more artists into the collective – growing from 24 to 30.
