Everywhere, an empty bliss is a collection of works aiming to explore the connection between mental states, conditions, and faculties with architecture, more specifically brutalist architecture.

The works draw upon my personal experiences with seeing psychologists and psychiatrists throughout my life. Alongside the urban hell that is modern Egyptian architecture. It became very clear to me once I had left Egypt to study for my BFA, that architecture plays a major unseen role within the mentality of the people that reside within it (This is especially present when one gazes upon brutalist architecture). These are my personal works attempting to flesh out the connections I have formed between my mentality and the architecture around me. 𓂀
