I took this original photo in Bali, Indonesia of a good friend of mine who had been struggling with depression through out his life. When I shot this we were shooting a short documentary on his life, his struggles with depression and anxiety and how he overcame that by finding God at a later time in his life. I wanted to encapsulate that process in my style. The fight to overcome depression with a new found hope.
