A Zahir is an object (any object) that creates addiction. It was contrived by the Argentine author Jorge Luis Borges in 1949. In his short story, also named "El Zahir", the Zahir was a ten-centavo coin with the letters "N","T" and the number "2" scratched into it. This is a phone receiver. Looks like someone really wanted to have it. Do you want to have it? I heard there's someone roaming the streets of Delpher, collecting every last phone receiver out there.

Cornelius DÀmmrich is his name, a tooth his crest. He was born in 1989, not far from Honecker's Lampenladen in East Berlin. His mum didn’t like the east, so they moved. He went to school, didn’t really succeed and became very serious about MS Paint, James Cameron’s ‘Titanic’ and drawing exploding planes. Today he calls himself a contemporary 3D Artist, which doesn’t really mean anything. His work concentrates on highly detailed still images made with 3D software that each take between 2 and 7 months to complete. He likes soda, computers and long walks around tiny ponds.
