A tribute to the art and design of the mid-twentieth century as well as the jazz music of the 1950's and early 1960's. I wanted to capture the aesthetic sense that grasped the painters and interior designers of that era and show how the art and design elements reflected the same creative freedom and sense of adventurous exploration that was holding sway over jazz musicians like Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Dexter Gordon, Thelonious Monk, Freddie Hubbard and Sonny Rollins, among others.
