Misinformation is a digitally inked piece which I created recently during a live stream on Twitch. I have always been fascinated with UFOs, aliens and supernatural stories in general and have spent an unbelievable amount of time researching this topic: Reading stories, watching videos of so called UFOs videos, listening to podcasts of people telling their experiences etc. I have for a while thought about all this information that I gathered about this topic and it once hit me that if I was a country hiding secrets from other countries perhaps the best way to keep said secrets as secrets is to spread misinformation such as these supernatural stories to sort of pollute the truth to the point where one wouldn't be able to tell what is true information or not anymore. I tried to make sense of these strange and fascinating stories that have been going around for years and it was always near impossible, but when I thought of it from that more realistic point of view I realized how much more sense it made. I wanted to pay homage to that train of thought through this piece. In a way, the aliens exist within the eyes of the deceived who at this point had become a pawn in the distribution of misinformation. The lunatics are in my eye.

The concept of this piece is not a proclamation of truth but merely the interpretation of a certain train of thought and of a theory among other theories.
