The series was inspired by nature and classic Nordic illustration - one of those being Elsa Beskows flower characters from the early 1900s.

Inspiration from 1900-1920 (theme), 1970-1980 (comic books) , 1920-1950 (pages) and the girls themselves are influenced by our modern beauty standards and classic pinups.

Vintage magazine pages, markers, ink, pencil, watercolor, gouache. All the final girls are scanned and edited using Photoshop.
