"Infinitum" captures the beauty of Lencois Maranhenses, a truly unique location in the world. At certain times of the year, rainwater lakes form between the undulating, swept sand dunes. As a result, turquoise-blue lakes contrast with brilliant white dunes. All the way to the horizon.

I've been fortunate to have had the opportunity to visit this location around ten times in the last 2 years, and each time I do, the dunes leave me speechless. The journey and logistics to get there are not easy, which makes it all the more rewarding.

There is nowhere else in the world quite like it, which makes me even happier to capture it on camera and share them with the world.

I have named this image “0/1” because of the contrasting division between the vast and dense forest and the dunes and lagoons. Only from a small plane is it possible to get this perspective of the park that is rarely seen and well known to visitors.

This picture is special to me because it depicts a different and significant component of this entire ecosystem: the forest. It is very important because it brings the rains that fill the lagoons. Together, they produce one of the most stunning and extraordinary places on earth.
