Deriving inspiration from Buddhist art and Ukiyo-e woodblock prints, tranquility in chaos consists of two pieces connected by the relationship of a character and his environment while highlighting the contrast between these two. The main character wearing a big head-like helmet has been a recurring theme in the artist's practice. On the canvas, the landscape appears chaotic and unpredictable, while the character sits peacefully in the middle of the composition. The NFT companion piece opens a window to an alternate reality where the character seems to be consumed by the fire, yet the environment is peaceful and quiet. Everything Connected.
