Artist Anatoly Shuravlev. 'Panic' is the first video work that Shuravlev created in 2011 after many years of his artistic career. It shows the artist shoots a gun at the walls of the "white cube" gallery space. The bullets mark the walls with large holes. When the camera gives a closer look at the open wounds of the walls the tiny circular photographs (10 mm diameter) of screaming people come into sight. With subtle irony, Shuravlev combines the violent act of the armed man and the attitude of the artist that is possessed to invade the exhibition space.

The video was shown as a part of Artists Film International in 17 countries including such prominent contemporary art organizations as Ballroom Marfa (Marfa, Texas, USA); Hummer Museum (LA, USA); Istanbul Modern (Istanbul, Turkey); Museum of Modern Art (Warsaw, Poland); n.b.k (Berlin, Germany); Whitechapel Gallery (London, UK) and at MAAT (Lisbon, Portugal). It is in the permanent collection of the Neuer Berliner Kunstverein n.b.k. (Berlin, Germany).
