Meet 48 y/o Chhaya .

She sat on a wooden plank by a tree in a puddle of roses . 3-4 women sat around her and watched as she artistically made little garlands . These would later be sold at traffic lights when they turn red .

Chhaya was a pleasant lady . She was smiling and enjoyed talking to me . She has been selling flower garlands since she was a child . Her sick husband , lives in their village in Gujarat. She gets to meet him once a year .

She had no tools except a needle . She did everything else by hand . Her daily earning was ₹150 -₹200 ( 2.5$ )
