With "Displacer" the artist turns the lens inwards exploring the relationship between the subconscious and the physical human experience. The monolithic human head is an element depicted many times in the artist's practice. In this case, the head appears to be sliced in fragments, inviting the viewer to meditate about the idea of the layers of the human psyche and the manner in which these layers determine how we navigate our lives.
