Since his name is derived from “atom bomb,” it’s one of the few times we’ve referenced that facet of his personality. The original art features a hand hovering around the atom and you can still see a sliver of a finger in the bottom right corner.| Background Story: Horizontal stripes, especially of the yarn-dyed variety, are a staple of The Hundreds' collection. Earlier on, they were derived from the surf knits and beachgoer patterns that graced the backs of Californians in the 1980s. Examples include Hang Ten, OP, Quiksilver, and Gotcha. In the following decade, independent skate brands and rave companies capitalized on stripes across boxy, baggy tops.
