This geometric design has been the symbol of the artist Michael Strauss for over 15 years. 12 white hexagons surrounding 6 blue hexagons, with a black void in the center - forming a stylized eyeball.

This same arrangement of 18 hexagons is also known as the iconic "golden mirror array" of the James Webb Space Telescope - our newly awakened eye in the cosmos.

A constant feature in his work, Michael has made hundreds of unique animations of this signature shape with many varied techniques. This collection features a special selection of his most favorite creations over the past decade based on this image.

These video loops were used very often in Michael's live VJ performances to establish his visual identity and artist's signature.

“Structural Resonance” is among the best of these hexagonal animations, using intricate 3D fractal geometry to create a continuously shifting architectural landscape.
