The Statue of Zeus at Olympia is a towering marble statue of the god Zeus, created by the Greek sculptor Phidias in the 5th century BC. The statue was one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, and it was housed in the temple of Zeus at Olympia, one of the most important religious sites in ancient Greece. It is one of the most renowned works of ancient Greek sculpture. It stood over 42 feet (13 meters) tall, made of ivory and gold. It depicted Zeus sitting on a throne, holding a staff in one hand and a wand in the other. The statue was decorated with precious stones and metals and was one of the most lavish and expensive works of art created in ancient Greece. Although the exact reasons for its destruction remain unknown, some sources would suggest that it was destroyed by fire in the 5th century at the palace of Lausus in Constantinople.

Using the IPFS technology, Etherland is connecting physical real estate and world places' data with a digital layer built on the Ethereum Blockchain. This virtual layer, or Etherland's Earth Metaverse, is displaying unique identity tokens for every real estate and place on Earth in the form of Non-Fungible Tokens named "Land ID".

Each NFT representing a real place, also grants owners the control over the information linked to their token and stored on the IPFS network. On this Metaverse, users can use cryptocurrencies to buy, register, claim, create, promote, verify and monetize their Land ID tokens. Anyone is free to contribute in building the Etherland's World Metaverse.
