In the classical water drop formation technique, a drop is dropped into the water container and the water drop falling into the container creates a water jet upwards from the water as a result of surface tension. This rising jet sometimes forms a fountain. Although we are not very ambitious in this regard, it is a fact that the photos taken with the high speed technique are never the same and remain original. Various methods are being developed to create abstract forms with water drops. Fountain is one of them. A lot of effort went into creating the photos in this collection. There are only 125 unique photos in this category. This photo is 1714 x 2400 pixels.
"Drop Photography" experiments consist of photographing an abstract state of liquid. The electronic flash inventor, electrical engineer, and photographer from the U.S., Harold Edgerton's work on stroboscopic flash photography has been the subject of many scientific articles. A bullet piercing an apple and a milk drop dripping into a container in 1940 have succeeded in being one of the first high-speed photographs. Today, experimenting with abstract liquid forms is increasingly recognized as an essential element of "abstract or close-up" photography.
