The Mountains are Calling is the second collection by New Zealand photographer Rach Stewart of 20 single edition images after her first sold out collection Aotearoa Dreaming.

'I have been chasing Aotearoa New Zealand's mountains with my camera for the majority of my career with my signature style long exposure and atmospheric light photography.

Our natural world has such a pull on us as human beings, and many of us identify our souls with certain parts of its creation. To me the mountains are where I feel the most humbled by nature. Mountains lift me, but they scare me. They make me realise as humans we are just mere mortals strolling this earth for a short moment in time.

These images are some of my favourites from all the sunrises, sunsets, hikes and flights I have experienced with the mountains over the past 7 years. I hope you enjoy them too.'
