St. Valentine's Peak, Hampshire

St. Valentine's Peak was named by the explorer and surveyor Henry Hellyer in 1827 after a thirty-two day trek from Stanley through impenetrable bush. Matthew Flinders had previously sighted the 'peak like a volcano' in his circumnavigation of Tasmania in 1798.
