After carbon offsetting and covering the costs of this project, the remaining profits from the sale of this NFT Limted Edition collection will be shared with the 51 team members that originally helped to produce this file - in symbolic solidarity with, and inspired by the ethics and ideals of the NFT community. This collection was presented as a Digital Premiere on 22 February 2021 at London Fashion Week.
EDELINE LEE invited her audience to listen to the podcast story Memory Of A Dress, in collaboration with veteran podcaster PAUL BAE and his anthology series THE BIG LOOP. Edeline comments: “We are all navigating the digital landscape right now, but my brand operates on a human-scale. How to cross the divide?
After listening to the story, the audience was invited to view the moving-image lookbook, first published on VOGUE RUNWAY. “Inspired by this story, my team and I delved into its themes of memory. We explored digital and camera techniques to lend narrative to our fashion photography."
Finally, the collection was dropped as a collectible Limited Edition of NFTs on OPENSEA. This is historically the first Fashion Week show to take the form of an NFT. "This season, in short, is an experimentation with storytelling in digital mediums,” concludes Edeline.
