Victor Reyes arrived in San Francisco from Los Angeles during the summer of 1997. Over a span of 20 years, he became a prominent member of the Mission mural art community and simultaneously developed a personal studio practice.
Today, Victor’s murals can be seen in many cities around the world. His contemporary painting has continually been the subject of exhibitions and private collections, and he is consistently featured in partnerships and activations to engage communities with public art and culture.
Victor Reyes’ current work is informed by a moving studio; inhabiting workspace and public space in a symbiotic way, the pictures change with new motives and meanings derived from the challenges presented by each new environment.
He lives with his wife and child, and works in San Francisco.
The Big Fish Drop showcases a collection of NFT artists celebrating the contributions of the world’s most preeminent digital art collector, WhaleShark.
Since he first began investing in NFTs 2 years ago, WhaleShark has founded the first social currency, $WHALE, and serves as custodian to the VAULT that backs the currency’s ever-increasing value.
