This was my first book, published in 2015. I wanted to do something different with the zombie genre, so I created a world where the only people immune to the virus were those over 100 years of age. The problem, of course, is they are often the first to die when the zombies break through the front door.

I loved creating this cover because it captures the zombie genre as well as pays tribute to my hometown of St. Louis (where the story is set). No matter how many books I've published since then, this will always be one of my favorite covers.
