My driveway in Llano Quemado, Ranchos de Taos, New Mexico. I found the steer skull upside down in a piñon tree high up on a nearby mesa years ago. 4288 x 2848, 300 ppi.

New Mexico belongs to God and we just pass on through. As I once wrote, "The thing was though, they'd done it, the entire Taos murder trip, yet both of them were still together, healthy, and the love danced in her eyes." Kathy & I moved from Maryland to Taos County in 1999. The landing was a shock but we gave it all we had. New Mexico is never easy but stupendous. The story's in the photographs & their descriptions.
