Pornsuck and Boonshit, original drawing on paper are inspired by ‘Si Hoo Ha Ta’ (Four ears five eyes), a traditional demon found in Lanna (northern Thai) legends. This lovely creature resembles bears and monkeys, plus having four ears and five eyes. It resides in a cave and loves to eat hot charcoal, which excretes golden poop. Lanna people believe it will bring good luck. Paintings and sculptures of this demon can be found in many temples in the North of Thailand. Small figures sold as holy objects are also common.
