"This was the first time I captured a grand sweeping view in full spectrum. I'll admit, the results were quite spectacular on the back of the camera. After driving up high and then hiking to arrive at this view, I was certainly not disappointed with the results my infrared camera was capturing. But later in post, I really struggled to get that contrast in color that I was looking for. In time though, I managed to separate the colors of the sky with that of the landscape and create this warm cotton candy piece. If you look closely, you can spot all of the little details of this landscape. Including the tiny cars on the highway, the buildings in the town below, and the massive cargo ships far away in the ocean. Truly a magnificent location." - Zach Doehler

InfraRare is a slowly evolving collection of my very best infrared photography. The goal of this collection is to alter your perspective on reality and develop an appreciation for the invisible light that the naked eye cannot see. I also want to inspire other photographers with this collection to experiment with their own art and push the boundaries of what they believe is possible and acceptable with post-processing.

Ever since I developed a passion for photography over 6 years ago, color has been the primary focus of my work. I would spend thousands of hours experimenting and learning how to best infuse color into my images. After a few years, I got that style to a point where alterations of it became limited. After I modified one of my cameras for infrared photography, everything changed. And a new hybrid of my colorful style was formed. Join me as I journey through the invisible colors of the world.
