This artwork is an ode to the ravishing beauty and unpredictable power of the Black Swan. With its unfurled wings covered in vivid patterns, it is unsure whether the Swan is about to take flight to the open sky or has it just landed amidst the tranquil swans. As it poses tall and colourful amongst the achromatic swans, one is left to question whether the Black Swan is a disruptive anomaly in the peaceful whiteness of swans or is it a beacon of liberating individuality in a sea of mediocrity.

Kristel Bechara is the first arab female artist to launch an NFT art collection from the UAE and the Middle East. The series titled Beauty in Diversity & DeFi will only be available for purchase via crypto collectible token at an NFT marketplace. "As someone who has been creating digital art for a number of years, I wanted to participate in this movement as soon as I learned about it. I am delighted to see the recognition that digital art is finally receiving. For years I have had to explain to people that art produced digitally is not any way inferior to artisanal traditional art and both should be appreciated in their own way. As an artist who created both traditional and digital art, I can attest that the authority and creative process to create each piece is the same, yet one is developed and exhibited using modern tools.”
