On my last day in Stockholm, I walked down the steps at City Hall and sat down with my camera to witness the beauty of the blue hour over Södermalm. Since a couple of months before this trip, I was struggling to stay afloat or find some sort of direction in life, but I had a couple of realisations during the trip that helped me heal a little and find closure.
Looking at this view from across, all that self reflecting switched something in me, and suddenly the world seemed to be coloured in new light.

As someone who tends to edit with cooler tones; over the last few years I've been working on a collection of exclusive photos with “blue” as the dominant hue. Blue is often associated with sadness and melancholy. But for me it represents peace and serenity. This inspired the name for my collection. Blues, but the good kind.
