"Citta" in Chinese is called "心". In English Citta often translated as heart or mind, emphasizing it as more the emotive side of mind in contrast with intellectual side. In Sanskrit, "Citta"represents a more complex and mystical meaning, it primarily represents one's mindset, or state of mind. It is the term used to refer to the quality of mental processes as a whole. The complex causal nexus of volitions (or intentions) which one experiences continuously conditions one's thoughts, speech, and actions, of emotive side of the "Mind".

This crystal represents the "Citta", the glowing light is the benevolent bodhi seed which is deeply embedded in all sentient beings. The light has always been there and will be. Polluted by ego, greed and suffering, only very rare glimpses of light through the pollution can be seen occasionally. Mahayana Buddhism is precisely the teaching of cleaning pollutions by being aware, understanding, and "emptying" the "Citta". Let the inner light shine.
