Hommage for 寶貨 (A treasure)

This is projection mapping style artwork on Korean traditional white porcelain. I wanted to reinterpret lively Korean traditional patterns in connotation of auspicious meaning in a contemporary style.

Symbols expressed in traditional patterns of East Asian paintings and crafts are embodied in ceramics through digital mapping techniques. The richness and auspicious cultural codes emanating through images expand the physical and cultural spaces of tradition and new media.
