Sci-Rens are based on my love of the fantasy and horror tropes that made me gravitate into all things art in my youth. Imagery that would consume my thoughts, their grip on me, as intoxicating and inescapable as the song of a mythical “Siren.” Their iconography would transport me into their worlds, genres, and adventures. This was my escape… from the looming threat of nuclear war, a broken home, and all the other realities of being another latch-key kid belonging to generation xDigital art, Done in procreate @ 300 dpi 4k.
