Majesty. First element of a rare gallery synthetically generated by Generative Adversarial Networks by doing style transfer from rendered simulated data to real texturized images. This piece is created by a method developed in 2020 by Curtò et al. The method introduced a procedure capable to generate synthetically samples from the Moon using simulated data. This is the first piece of the collection that is minted and therefore is of unique value as it is part of the history of synthetic image generation as it was the first time it was used in the context of space exploration to address the sim-to-real gap.
