Sad party - After party is a collaborative exhibition between New Orleans artists Gunner Dongieux and Giovanni Gutierrez. Created in response to Gutierrez’s personal narrative photographs, Dongieux carefully constructs digital vignettes, laced with uncanny pop-culture ephemera. The series conceptually explores the practice of empathetic voyeurism, while addressing issues of ownership and intention.
